 Dr. Cutler has been practicing Ophthalmology in our area since 1976. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Mass Medical Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Cutler has been a true innovator in Ophthalmology. In 1976 he was the first in our area to do no-stitch cataract lens replacement. Currently he is leading the area offering CK (Conductive Keratoplasty®) the first and only FDA approved procedure to reduce your need for reading glasses.
Dr. Cutler also has extensive experience in the care of patients desiring surgery as an alternative to glasses and contact lenses. He has been performing refractive surgery since 1991 and LASIK since its approval by the FDA in 1995. He performed the first LASIK procedure in the Gloucester area.
Dr. Cutler was instrumental in bringing Excimer laser technology to the Monterey Peninsula and has performed well over 2000 procedures.
His other affiliations include: American Association of Ophthalmology, Surgical Eye Expeditions and American Medical Association. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Tufts New England Medical School.
